Description
Nederlands: Met dit contract erkende teuku Nja Muda Jusuf de Nederlandse soevereiniteit. Het werd op 4 februari 1895 getekend teuku Nja Muda Jusuf, uléëbalang (Atjehs bestuurshoofd) van het landschap Simpang Olim (Atjeh, Noord-Sumatra) en de Civiel en Militair Gouverneur van Atjeh en Onderhorigheden, generaal-majoor C. Deykerhoff. Vanaf 1898 kwam de zogenaamde korte verklaring in de plaats van de lange verklaring. De koloniale staat stelde zich niet langer tevreden met de erkenning van haar soevereiniteit, maar ging tot inlijving over. Perjanjian ini ditandatangani pada 4 Februari 1895 oleh Teuku Nja Muda Jusuf, uléëbalang (kepala pemerintahan Aceh) di lanskap Simpang Olim (Aceh, Sumatera Utara) dan Gubernur Sipil dan Militer Aceh dan Dependensi, Mayor Jenderal C. Deykerhoff. Sejak tahun 1898, apa yang disebut deklarasi pendek menggantikan deklarasi panjang. Tidak lagi puas dengan pengakuan kedaulatan, pemerintah kolonial melanjutkan dengan aneksasi.
